Q + A

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate for the guests included on the invitation.

Can I Take Photos and Video During the Ceremony?

We plan to have an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking for phones and cameras to be put away and on silent. We've hired a photographer and videographer to capture this important moment in our lives, and we'd hate for a phone or camera to block that moment for the photographer to capture.

What Date Should I RSVP By?

August 9, 2024

What is "Cocktail Attire"

Cocktail attire strikes a balance between elegance and personalization. For women, a dress paired with heels is a classic choice, while men typically wear a well-fitted suit with a dress shirt and tie. Accessories and personal style are encouraged within these guidelines.

What if I don't RSVP by the Deadline?

If we don't hear back from you by the RSVP deadline, you will be marked as "Not Attending". This reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest counts for our venders within a timely manner.

Will There be Alcohol?

There will be signature cocktails, beer, wine, and seltzers.

Will there be an Open Bar?

There will not be an open bar. Just the options mentioned previously.

Are There Any Colors We Should Avoid Wearing?

We kindly ask that you avoid colors reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, and creams.

Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?

If the weather cooperates, we plan for the wedding to be a mix of indoor and outdoor.

Will There Be Parking at the Venue?

There is plenty of public parking available at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture. However, because the parking is public and nothing can be guaranteed, we strongly advise carpooling to be safe.

What Type of Food Will be Served?

There will be a buffet themed around Haley and Connor's honeymoon in Europe.

Will there be Meal Options for Guests with Dietary Restrictions or Allergies?

Dining options will be provided for any food allergies or restrictions that you have. Please let us know of your restrictions when RSVPing.

What Time Should I Arrive Before the Ceremony?

Guests should arrive by 4pm. Please allow time for traffic as Montlake can get backed up on Fridays.
